I received these results for the assessments poor networking 36, medium negotiating 51, learning organizational culture 1.6, developing good working relationships especially with boss 3, being a loyal and honest team member 4, and gaining recognition 1.75.

I had no expectations on the results of the assessments as I have never thought of networking or negotiating with people. I learned that these are areas that I need to improve in as I have very limited skills and expertise in them. The one strength I have is being a loyal and honest team member. A personal value of mine is honesty and transparency. In order to achieve anything in life, I believe people have to honest to others and to themselves. I would like to improve on my networking skills as I lack the most in that area.

Hello, my name is Hannah Simmons. I am a social work major graduating Longwood University with my BS in Social work.  I interned at the Department of Social services for my junior field and for my senior field I will be working at an in-patient psychiatric facility. I plan to apply for the advance standing program at Virginia Commonwealth University to purse a clinical degree in social work. I hope to be a therapist one day in private practice on the side and work a full-time job. What is your passion in choosing the field that you are in?

I might use this in settings within my internship in order to gain connections within the field and have the ability to call back on those connections. I am not good at selling myself as I usually sell myself too short and become uncomfortable when being complimented on my job performance.
