In the spring of 2018 I took PHED 101 to complete my Goal 11 requirement. Through this class, I discovered a detailed understanding of how to be healthy. I took the concepts I learned through this class and have applied them to my everyday way of living in order to try and lead a healthier life. One of the requirements of the class is that you wear a fitness tracker and get 10,000 steps per week in order to improve our overall healthy lifestyle. My artifact is from my week 7 and 8 step tracking. This artifact shows how I was able to track my steps every week and tried to keep up with the 70,000-step requirement per week. I was able to get at least very close to my goals for the weeks. My goals moving forward have been to continue to achieve the 10,000 steps a day and continue to analyze what I’m ingesting in order to live a healthier life.
