I chose this course for two reasons: firstly, I thought the course name “Calling Bullshit” was interesting, and I knew absolutely nothing about economics going into this course. This course was very challenging for me since it was difficult to think and write regarding economics with the brain of a nursing student who has always been more of an English and history person. I really had to advocate for myself and was thankful to have such an understanding professor who clearly cared about his students understanding what he was teaching.
I still don’t think of myself as an economics person, but this course definitely helped me analyze sources better, which helped me in my spring semester. The artifact attached is an analysis of an article I got to choose at the end of the course.
