My name is Makayla Massie, and I am a senior at Longwood University. I am a nursing major and a member of the Cormier Honors College. I am currently a member of the Honors Student Association, Sigma Alpha Pi (National Society for Leadership and Success), Alpha Lambda Delta (National Honor Society for First-Year Students), the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the Longwood University Nursing Honor Society, and the Student Nursing Association. I will graduate from Longwood in May 2020 with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree. After passing the NCLEX, I will begin my career as a registered nurse this summer at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital.
