Service is an Honors pillar focused on giving back to the Longwood and Farmville communities. This pillar is meaningful to me because it allows me to be charitable towards the welcoming communities that I am a part of. In doing community services, I will also be able to work on my social skills and cooperating with others in order to help people. I plan to help out with the various communities the CHC works with every other semester if I am able to, since I am grateful for how Longwood has welcomed me and I want to show others that same welcoming feeling that I experienced, if not more than just a feeling.
