I am thankful that I took Spanish 211 the semester after taking Spanish 111. Everything that I had learned from taking Spanish 111 the semester before taking Spanish 211 helped me excel in all the material in this class. Spanish 111 gave me a nice introduction and foundation into the Spanish language. I was able to further my growth in the language during this course by more oral practice as well as by learning more tenses. Professor Sergio also made a lot more requirements for our essays during this course which helped strengthen my writing in Spanish. We also went more into depth of the Spanish culture in this class, and were required to write summary reports from articles we has read off of Spanish culture based websites.
