Introduction to policing was a very informative class. All of our homework was done through Cengage and it was challenging. I remember being stressed out at the beginning of the semester because I did bad on the first homework assignment. Other students in the class were feeling the same way, and after a discussion during class with our professor she contacted Cengage and made a few changes to the homework assignments. This did not make them easier, but made the assignments more clear. I thought it was interesting to learn the history of policing up until now. The course also gave more in sight into what a police officers job entails, the public and policing, and so much more. What I liked most about this class is Chief Lettner’s personal experiences and stories that she told us.
Unfortunately, all of our homework assignments were completed through Cengage including our final so I have no artifact from the class to show.
