I had signed up for this class because it was a prerequisite for the supplied statistics level perspectives course I was going to take. I am now enrolled in another course to fulfill the applied statistics course. However, I am still grateful I took this course. It was a good introduction into statistics, and I can foresee using some of the math I learned in this class in real life. I am also taking a social research and program evaluation course this coming fall. I feel like math 171 was a good foundation level course to take before taking the social research class. Math 171 also helped me better develop team work skills because we were assigned written assignments that we had to complete within groups.
