My Protecting Life on Earth class was one of my favorite courses I have taken at Longwood so far. We did several group projects and presentations throughout the semester. From this, I was able to learn how to work better in group projects. One of the most challenging things for me in this course was the group presentations. However, I enjoyed the challenge of each presentation and by the end of the semester giving a presentation did not bother me at all. I learned a lot of skills besides proper public speaking as well. This course helped me practice how to pull important information from websites, scientific articles, and other materials when doing research.
