Fall 2018
In this class, we learned about different age groups and their cognitive, physical, and behavioral changes. This was an interesting course because it pertained to my major. Especially for those students who want to pursue pediatric nursing. Being able to learn about children’s changes can be helpful when performing physical assessments, such as seeing if a child is growing at the right pace. This class consisted of lectures, quizzes, reflections, and a written paper. The written paper consisted of applying what we learned in class to real life, such as interviewing three individuals that fell into each age group. This paper was very intriguing because our findings actually matched with the material we were learning in class.
