Spring 2021
In this class, we learned about the physiological, physical, and mental effects on the older adult. To further look into this, we researched how older adults were affected by COVID-19 by contacting a local resource facility called Piedmont Senior Resources. We learned about all the contributions they developed by also adapting to the pandemic. This is significant to our nursing career because we have to be flexible and learn to adapt to unforeseen changes.
