At Longwood so far, I have a great support system and this is essential for me. Through the Honors College and the nursing program, I have met numerous people who I can come to with any problem and they are more than willing to help me. Having people in my life that I can count on while at school is the most important thing to have because I get home sick every once in a while. I need this community atmosphere while away from home in order to be successful at Longwood University.
I am only going into my sophomore year, but I know that these people that I lean on for support everyday will be my friends for life. We have already experienced so much together like the adjustment from home to dorm and we will soon survive nursing school together!
I cannot wait to meet even more new people every year I am at Longwood!!!
This is a photo of my friends and I participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. A lot of the organizations on campus participate in this event to help raise awareness and money.
