Professional Report
This was the final project for this course and it incorporated every course learning outcome. Our group chose to create a scenario where we were asked to analyze the websites of three different universities and give recommendations for the website of a new university. We each analyzed a different website and wrote up our analysis based on how the website met certain criteria. This project was created in the style of a professional report that might be created for upper-level management at a business. We had to do research on each school, participate productively within our group, and then present our findings to the rest of the class. I usually don’t like group projects because it’s difficult to find a time for everyone to work together, but we didn’t have any issues like that. I enjoyed seeing the analysis of my peers and helping each other create each part of the report for our presentation. After doing this project, I feel a lot more prepared to give reports like this in a business setting.
