Philosophy 361

The title of this course was The Problem of Evil. This was the first class I took with Dr. Blincoe. I’ve taken one since and am taking another in the fall. This class was genuinely one of the most important classes I’ve ever taken. It made me reconsider some of my views on religion and I feel better having taken the class. The course materials were really interesting to read and discussing them in class helped break down some of the more complicated ideas. I had the good fortune to take the class with some of my friends and we ended up doing our final project for this class together. The final project was a dialogue between us, as characters that we chose to have certain opinions on religion. Our characters converse and discuss what they think, trading points and ideas, almost all of which we learned about in the class. I feel better prepared to think about religion and answer some questions that other people have about it and I definitely found some answers to questions that I had as well.
