English 165

This class was one of my favorites from my fall semester and I am thrilled to be having Dr. Ruday as one of my professors next semester. Because the class was so small, it was a lot easier to answer questions and work in small groups. One of my good friends was in the class as well and it helped to work together outside of class for some of the projects. This wasn’t a hard class for me, but I learned a lot from it. In high school, we didn’t go over the different types of writing well enough and this class helped reinforce some basic things that I wasn’t a hundred percent on. I wrote a scientific research paper for this class, which is kind of a foreign type of writing to me, being an English major. I chose to write about invasive species and their impact on the environment. I learned a lot about the subject and I enjoyed doing the research for this topic. I am including this paper below.
