Community

Before coming to campus and becoming apart of the Honors College, I was terrified that I would not be able to make friends or find a group to be apart of. Afterward, I realized that I had nothing to fear because the Honors College is a really close-knit community and everyone knows and supports each other in it.

This type of community really helped me transition into college a lot easier and really pushed me out of my shell to talk with new people. I have been able to meet different kinds of people and make a lot of friends. I definitely think it helped that we all lived in Wheeler together the first year and were able to grow close.

Overall, I am entirely grateful to the Honors College for providing an atmosphere and community that supports and uplifts its members to feel comfortable and appreciated.
