The purpose of this podcast is to inform individuals who are parents, adults who are wishing to adopt or become foster parents, and the teachers that would have these children in their class about child sexual abuse in the foster care system.
Primary prevention methods are used to draw more attention to why these children are more vulnerable to this occurrence. Child sexual abuse does not have many active solutions. Because of this, these methods are used to attempt to suggest changes in the system that can make to benefit the population.
The Podcast is appropriate for this target audience because technology is so significant is people’s lives now. Everyone is always online. Our topic is targeting individuals who are constantly busy so having something they can listen to on their phone, laptop, and etc. during their free time could make it easier for them to understand the points being made.
