ENGL 379 – Representing NonHumans

This was my last perspective course for my entire college career which was such a weight lifted off of my shoulders. This definitely was my hardest perspective class ever!

It was very hard to wrap my head around the entire ‘nonhuman’ aspect while talking about robots, houses, technology, and how they all were intertwined within the human race. As I started reading the books and taking good notes it eventually started clicking in my head. I also had friends taking the same class so it was nice to be able to talk about the book with them and brainstorm ideas for these complex papers.

As my artifact, I have chosen my first paper written in this class. It is on the book Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, and the prompt was using ontological ambiguities to explain social contradictions throughout the novel.
