Literature Review Table

Due Date: June 28, 2020

Purpose: The purpose of this assignment is to developed skills and techniques common to the practice of therapeutic recreation such as EBP, documentation, evaluation, communication and professional cooperation.

Knowledge: Using the PICOT statement, the student will develop search terms and begin searching databases for the most current and relevant peer-reviewed journal articles available on their topic. Students are strongly encouraged to contact Tammy Hines or another librarian at Greenwood Library, set up an appointment to get help in researching their topic. She can be contacted through the library webpage  or her email is hinestm@longwood.edu.

Databases to Search:

Task: Using the attached literature review template, students will identify, find and record information from at least 10 peer-reviewed articles relevant to their identified topic. To submit, the student will upload their completed table into their blog under the tab titled “Literature Review Table”.

Criteria for Success: The table must be reviewed and approved by both the mentor and the course instructor in order for the student to proceed to literature summary. Approval will be given as written comment/reply to the student’s initial post.
