NURS 310: Principles of Pathophysiology

NURS 310, Principles of Pathophysiology, covered the processes that are associated with diseases of the body. We studied topics such as diabetes, COPD, renal diseases, alterations in electrolytes, neurological problems, heart failure, shock, MI’s, arterial and venous diseases, HIV, AIDS, tuberculosis, cancer, pressure ulcers, infection, respiratory diseases, and brain disorders, just to name a few. I enhanced this course in order to earn honors credit for it. I decided to do extensive research on breast cancer and then present a poster that gave an overview of my findings.
