NURS 392: Nursing Care of Patients with Complex Health Problems

NURS 392, Nursing Care of Patients with Complex Health Problems, was a more general nursing class that focused on the care of patients that may be seen on medical-surgical units. This class covered a variety of topics, some of which included acute coronary syndrome, CABG surgeries, myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease, angina, heart failure, organ transplant, head traumas, various kinds of shock, respiratory diseases, renal failure, and much more. I decided to enhance this class in order to receive honors credit. I did extensive research on heart transplantation and presented a poster that gave an overview of my research findings.
