I took this class in the fall of 2018 to fulfill my scientific reasoning pillar. This class was very interesting, but it was also a very difficult class for me personally because I was not used to having to study for so long and having to read multiple chapters of a scientific textbook at a time. Throughout this class we looked into what makes us different from others and we would have open discussions. This made me learn a lot about myself and also about the field of psychology. It also persuaded me to add a minor in psychology in order to make myself more marketable.
The most valuable thing that I learned from this class is that you have to be willing to put in a lot of effort to get a decent grade sometimes. Due to this class being very challenging for the entire class we formed study groups and would work on memorizing everything we could about the chapters that we would later quiz on. This help our grades a lot and allowed us to be able to get a good grade in the class. I also learned that it can be beneficial to study in a group so that it is harder to get distracted or discouraged.
The following was a lab analysis write up that I completed in this course.
