Biology 101:

This course introduced me to the nature and applications of biology. After taking this class my second semester freshman year, I knew that I wanted to declare as a Biology major. Before this, I came into college undeclared and had no idea what I wanted to major in. This class showed me a basic overview of all of the important concepts of biology and I fell in love with it. I learned about molecular and cellular elements of life, mechanisms of ecological and evolutionary relationships and ideals, and examining functions of organisms within our environment. I never thought that taking an intro to biology class would help me realize my passion for science.
