Intro to the Visual Arts:

In this class, I learned the basic elements of painting, sculpture, and architecture. We discussed how the different meanings and representation of different works of art, and there importance and role in our community. In today’s society, if people don’t take the time to look around at their surroundings, they could miss captivating works of art, no matter if they were made for that intent or not. Many of our assignment included going around Farmville to observe and analyze the art around town. This allowed me to really think out of the box and understand art and it’s importance in our society.
