LSEM: When freshmen arrive at Longwood the first thing that they experience is their LSEM. This is a group of people designed to make the transition from high school to Longwood that much easier. I was a member of LSEM 50. Through this I gained an amazing mentor as well as I met one of my best friends at Longwood. During this time we discussed The Other Wes Moore as well as what it means to be a citizen leader. This class challenged me to consider what I believed a citizen leader to be as well as what changes I could make in my life to be a more advantageous leader. The paper attached below is a paper that I wrote reflecting on New Lancer Days and what students take out of the seminars along with the experience as a whole.
