For this Math 171 class, it was targeted towards Statistics. This area of study mainly gave me the knowledge of learning proper methods to collect data, utilize the correct analysis, and give up to date results. During the class, I had homework through WebAssign, three tests and three written papers. For the first paper, I was asked to do a random sample on data collected from Longwood Students in Math 171 about their political party. I took a random sample of 50 people’s political parties. I obtained all my numerical data from inputting into an excel spreadsheet. Then I put all the numbers in a bar and circle graph. Stats gave me a better understanding of learning more in-depth statistical conversations.
