Latin 211

Latin 211 was very similar to my time in Latin 111, the main difference was learning more complex grammar structures and sentences. The class was formatted the same with having homework almost every night and having quizzes every other class. For one of my final assignments, I had to do a research topic on a Roman topic that changed the world. I wrote about Roman Structures in cities and how the changed the way the world forms buildings. I focussed on Triumphal Arches, Bath Houses, Aqua Ducts, and Colosseums. For each structure, I explained how that structure was formed and how it shaped the way buildings were now being built. For example, because of arches, there have been many famous buildings coming from this structural example. This class gave me a better knowledge of the Latin language and culture.
