Personal Statement: This semester is not one to reflect my academics or motivation in school. I went through a lot of family changes, some that caused my grades last spring to go down a bit, but it hit me the worst in this fall semester. I failed a class (I did not include it because I am retaking it in Fall 2022), got a D in another class, and had to drop one due to attendance issues. I’ve learned that not taking care of yourself while away from home is the worst thing you can do, and trying to handle your own academics but not being able to handle yourself is a huge struggle to go through. I’ve learned from my mistakes, and unfortunately had to hit a rock bottom to realize I need to start working on going up. My spring semester reflects more of my work ethic and involvement in my classes.
