This course looked into the study of life, with emphasis on the form and function of organisms and the ecological principles governing populations, communities, and ecosystems. This course was also geared toward the teaching profession so we explored ways we could incorporate the content into lessons.
This course easily became one of my favorites due to the professor. He made the course fun and interesting to learn about. I was able to learn more than just the surface knowledge that was on the powerpoint and understand the concepts behind each topic. The class was very small which helped in him focusing on each students needs fo the class. This course taught me to make sure I communicated with my professor during lectures by asking questions that related to me so that I could better learn the content.
My artifact I have included is our research paper we did. This paper was very stressful to do because the results were not what we or the professor expected. It showed that science is unpredictable and that even if you expect the outcome it can change.
