Service

On several occasions, the Cormier Honors College has provided me with the opportunity to do volunteer work. As a part of the retreat at the beginning of my first semester, the entirety of the Honors freshmen went out into Farmville with volunteer organizations and helped to clean up different parts of town. We picked up every kind of trash imaginable.

I also participated in the Hull Springs Farm trip. We gleaned broccoli for the Northern Neck Food Bank, a group that offers healthier food options to locals, specifically people with Type I and II Diabetes.
