Biography

Hello, I am Jacob Carney. I graduated from Fluvanna County High School in May 2015. I am now a senior computer science major with a minor in chemistry at Longwood University. I am also a member of the Cormier Honors College Class of 2019. My current plan is to graduate in December of 2018 and to attend graduate school the following fall semester.

For the past several semesters, I have worked with User Support Services as a Resident Technology Associate and as a student technician at the Help Desk.

I am the former vice president of the Longwood Chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery and now am just a general member again. I am currently the president of Longwood Upsilon Pi Epsilon, the honors society for computer science. At the end of spring 2018, I was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi. Lastly, I am a member of Alpha Lambda Delta, the honors society for freshmen.
