Freshman year, spring 2020:
Chem lab 213 was honestly one of my favorite classes. Even though the pre labs and the post labs were kind of difficult to answer, I was still able to gain more knowledge as well as skill in a chem lab. I personally appreciate the professor who had so much patience with me and my lab partner. To be completely honest most of the time I was confused even though we had copied and printed out the instruction, there were still some steps that I was unable to fully understand. With the help of Dr.Yeagle, I was able to complete the lab as well as understand what I was doing.
One of the finals for this class was a literature review which in fact I had never read a scientific article related to chemistry. At first, the article that was assigned to me was kind of hard to read as well as to understand. I had to read the article a few times to completely understand what the article was talking about. What I appreciate about the literature review was the fact that the questions helped me solved the puzzles of fully understanding the article. Also, what I found interesting about the literature review assignment was the fact that the questions didn’t necessarily have a direct answer, which gave me more flexibility in answering the question to the best of my ability.
The following is an artifact of my literature review:
