Ideal Staffing Needs

Ideal Staffing Needs

What we look for in our staff is respect, that they respect the place they work for and they respect their co-workers. Then we look to see what kind of education they have and any internships they have had. We like to make sure the people we hire are able to handle anything we throw at them. They need to be CPR, First aid, and AED certified, especially our personal trainers. We would also need to have our coaching staff to have experience in the coaching field and getting their license in coaching. We would also like for them also to have a background in management so that they have an understanding of helping us manage together as a team working for Elite Performance.

Our current staff meets all these needs stated above. The Athletic Director, Technical Director and Executive Director constantly are on the lookout to ensure all the staff continually meet those needs. Once they staffing needs are not met, we ensure that we address and solve the problem, so they are, because the needs of the athletes always come first.

In the future, we plan to expand Elite Performance, where we will have a bigger sports performance section, as well as more basketball courts and teams. This would include the hiring of new coaches, personal trainers, and maintenance staff. However, currently we are not expanding or adding any new hires anytime soon, besides interested internships.

We love and encourage interns in Elite Performance! As our goal is to help improve and provide a fun and knowledgeable environment for the youth in basketball and sports performance, we want to give that opportunity for individuals wanting to get into the health and fitness career field. We accept interns at all times, and if interested, make sure to contact us!

In Elite Performance, we have a mix of Full-time and Part-time positions. The coaching staff and some personal trainers work part-time, while the heads of the departments and management officers are all full-time. The athletic trainer is a full-time position, while the assistant athletic trainer is part-time.
