My first year with my LIFE STEM mentor, Michelle Parry, was both great and helpful. My mentor helps me to learn more about Longwood such as classes, how things works on Longwood campus, and explaining various of club actives and events happening on campus. Not only my mentor helps me know more about Longwood, she also wants more about myself such as my daily life routine and my activities I did each week before our meetings in her office. She also gives me tips and advice on how to be successful in college. After spending a year with my mentor, I feel like having a mentor to check on my status after each week can help me maintain my time for myself and the time it takes to complete assignments from each classes more efficiently. I really thankful for my mentor to help me get through the rest of the year here at Longwood University.
