Education for Social Change

To fulfill an honors requirement for first semester, I took Education for Social Change. I really enjoyed this class because it was largely discussion based and focused on our personal opinion on broader topics. This class was particularly interesting due to falling during the time period of the 2016 Presidential Election. Running parallel to the campaign, this class allowed me to become more active in following politics, and understanding how the political system worked. One of the projects that we completed in this class was creating a poster, comparing a designated platform between the two parties. My partner and I chose Education as our topic, which was interesting to me because I hope to become a teacher. The document attached to this page contains the information that was presented at the Honors 2016 Poster Session.
