Math 171: Statistical Decision Making

Instructor: Dr. Ledford

This was the final project for Dr. Ledford’s Math 171 course. For this project, I had to use my test scores from the class to help predict the possibility that I would receive an A on my final exam. This paper was a reflection on the final project and showed me how I could improve my final exam scores in my other courses.

This project required the knowledge of statistics that I had gained throughout the semester. By understanding and being able to execute the necessary formulas and equations for the project, I was able to complete the project on time. This project showed me that I can calculate the probability of my final exam scores by using my test scores received over the course of the semester. With this knowledge of calculating the probability of my final exam scores, I will be able to use this strategy in my future classes to help prepare me for my final exams.
