Service

Service has always been a big part of my life. To me, it means helping others in need and not receiving anything in return. When I do community service, it always puts a smile on my face after the job is done and whoever needed the help is happy. Service shouldn’t be about recognition or checking a box on a resume, service should be wanting to help the community in any way possible in your free time.

The Cormier Honors College takes community service very seriously and is always going out into the community to help those in need. By being a part of the Honors College, I am also a part of an organization that has no trouble lending a helping hand to those in need. The Honors College provides a wide range of community service because of their many connections throughout the community. This in turn gives me the opportunity to go out and provide assistance to anyone or place that is in need of it.
