The link above is a literature review on Lycopene and Trans-Resveratrol Phytoestrogens and their role in the production of myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSC). This paper looks at different scientific articles for a better and clearer understanding of what Lycopene and Trans-Resveratrol Phytoestrogens are and how it affects cancer.

Reflection Portion: All three artifacts utilized different scientific articles for a better and clearer understanding of the topic I was discussing. It also provided background and evidence in what I was trying to prove. In every assignment that has been assigned to me, scientific articles were always used. Therefore, my knowledge has increased in different areas of science. For example, before ecology, I never knew what Japanese stilt grass was and its danger, however, after reading many articles about the species, I was able to comprehend the extent of damage it has caused native American flora. Like previously mentioned, scientific articles back up claims. In the first artifact, I used scientific articles to provide evidence that my novel immunotherapy approach has the potential of being extremely beneficial. The articles gave me concrete ideas of how the Ebola virus operates and what proteins can be used to thwart their advances. The third artifact used scientific articles to provide background and a foundation for our thesis. The artifacts on this page and all the assignments given to me has taught me the importance of scientific articles. As aforementioned, my knowledge and comprehension have increased in different areas in science, therefore, making me a well-rounded scientist. I am able to look at the evidence and results from other experiments and determine if a study was conducted properly and if the information is accurate. This growth is extremely important because I can take these skills and apply it to my own assignments, research, and work.
