This course satisfied a major requirement and a Pillar. Biology 114 with Dr. Lehman was a phenomenal class. Our lecture period was interesting and productive and our labs were always fun and exciting. The lectures were given along with guided notes which was very helpful since we learned so much in class. The labs were always hands-on and helped us apply a lot of our knowledge from class to real life. Dr. Lehman kept us on our toes with labs, we were always using microscopes, tools, plants, and we even took a nature walk around campus to identify the plants. Because this course was specifically for teachers, we focused heavily on the SOL curriculum and even practiced teaching and creating assignments.
