The Honors College has shown me how rewarding community service is in my everyday life. During my first few weeks on campus, I had done so much community service and I had enjoyed it a lot. We had helped those who really needed help and that made me feel really great.
Doing community service through the Honors College has shown me how important it is to reach out and help those who need it. The most rewarding thing is to help someone and feel the love and appreciation that the person feels towards you after helping them. It makes you feel important and useful in your community.
Overall, the Honors College has shown me how community service and being empathic to others makes you feel better about yourself and how it helps your community look and feel better as well.
