Physical Education 101
PHED was a very simple course that focused on the importance of physical activity and healthy nutrition. Half of the class consisted of going over Power Points in class. The other half of the course consisted of doing physical activity. We were required to wear a pedometer and walk at least 70,000 steps per week. In addition, we spent time working out as a class during class periods. Taking this class really helped me be more aware of my level of daily activity. I continued to wear the pedometer every day even after I finished taking the class, and since taking this course I have continued to track my activity and work to get 70,000 steps per week.
