Global Citizenship/ Aesthetic

In Fall 2020, I took MUSC 331 to fulfill my Global Citizenship/ Aesthetic perspective. This class went over music history from the start of known music and instruments up until Beethoven. We would talk about how the music and instruments connected to the culture of the time. One way that we learned about this music was by doing research projects. We did some group projects where we researched certain composers or compositions. Our final project was a paper written on a composer and composition that we chose from a list. This paper is linked below. This class helps me in the future as I am planning on becoming a music teacher and much of this history is important for giving an accurate performance so I chose a composer/composition that I already partially knew and was performing a selection from that semester.
