In Fall 2021, I took SPAN 211 to fulfill my World Language perspective. In this class we did many projects that we later had to present in Spanish. These projects pushed me to learn vocabulary that I did not know well to fully present the ideas in my projects. One of the projects that we did in class was a news report. We found a couple news articles and summarized them like we were giving a news report. We wrote a script which is linked below but presented it with only a couple short notes and the photographs similar to how you would see and actual news report. This class helped me to expand my Spanish vocabulary as well as have a better understanding of actual conversations and videos I could end up seeing when using Spanish in the future.
