Open in new tab In Public Speaking we learned the more exact or scientific aspects of public speaking than what we might have already been familiar with from past experiences. I found this course uniquely challenging, as I am no stranger to public speaking, but I was more inclined to improvise and less familiar with the exact processes of speech writing and preparation. I still found it to be a lot of fun, and the class went on despite the hurdles the quarantine threw at us. In this assignment, we were to create a speech that would inform the class on something of our choice, and I had a lot of fun creating and recording a speech about one of my favorite books. Although I was already an experienced speaker, this class really helped me to refine my art.
