This essay was not only a test of our reading of New Journalism that we had done in class, but also a test of our understanding of New Journalism as a whole and practice for us writing our own Personal Essay. This was one of the earlier papers I did, not one of my first, but not a final, so I feel that it accurately reflects how I had become adjusted to the college system and was already growing and learning how to write a proper college paper.
