I took this course in the Spring of 2020. We started in person and then mid-march the pandemic hit and we went fully virtual. I found this course to be very difficult because for the first half we did not follow a syllabus. I was definitely struggling at first with getting a hang of the course material but I ended up achieving an A as my final grade. This course taught me a lot about how I view the world and I think it will help in the future. I do recommend this course to any major because it is important to be able to understand social issues and problems that exist within our society.
The artifact I chose was an extra credit assignment in which we had to analyze a film for sociology principles. I had a lot of fun completing this and would like to share it. Linked here is the document.
