The scholarship pillar is the most important Pillar for me. I have always wanted to be a better student than the one I was the year before. I want to succeed academically. I feel that the Cormier Honors College at Longwood wants me to succeed as well. So far in my first year, I have found that all of the professors and staff of the honors college are absolutely wonderful. I found myself going to visit them and say hello, even when I didn’t need anything. I really enjoy having professors that want to help and want to know how you are doing.
Taking a heavy course load isn’t always easy, and I was thankful that I found other students that wanted to take harder courses and expand their knowledge. I hope to continue to push my limits and take difficult courses throughout my next couple of years at Longwood. In spring 2020, I earned my first 4.0 GPA after much hard work. I am incredibly proud of the progress I have made here and I hope to continue to become a better student.
