Now that I am finally blessed with free cable, courtesy of my parents, I have been watching TV more frequently. One commercial that caught my eye was a trailer for the new TV show Becoming Us on ABC Family.

The series is about two teenagers, Ben and his girlfriend Danielle, who both have transgender parents. I think it will be an intriguing show to watch and will be really interesting to follow for the duration of the course.

I think its a good thing to show how a family adjusts to an individuals decision to become transgendered and how they support their loved ones. I think it will also be interesting to see how people react to a show that is somewhat out of the norm for ABC Family.
