During my time in Child develpment, I learned about the different ways people change throughout their growing years. The class was mainly graded through different homework assignments, quizzes and the end of the year project. The end of the year project was a paper and speech about the three different stages of child development. For the project, I had to interview three different people of those age ranges and evaluate if they were on track. For the interview, I had eight interview questions for each person pertaining to their physical, psychologic, social and personal self. The first stage is early development this is for children under 8. I wrote about my cousin Colton who is 6 years old. The second stage is middle development which is children eight to twelve. For this stage, I interviewed my brother who is 12 years old. The third stage is adolescence which is children twelve to eighteen. For this stage, I interviewed my boyfriend Nate. For this project, I had a few interesting finds like all my interviewees were men. This was interesting because girls and guys develop very differently. This class gave me a better understanding of how children develop throughout their life and will help me help children in my future career as a nurse.
Attached is my Three Ages Paper.
