Community

According to Merriam Webster community is, “a group of people with a common character or interest.” The community I found at Longwood was my sorority Zeta Tau Alpha. College was a confusing time in my first semester, at first college was very lonely. I had to rely on only myself to get things done, I no longer had my mom to make me dinner and tell me it’s all going to be okay. Luckily the second semester I decided to go through recruitment and found my home away home from at ZTA. Once I joined I instantly felt a sense of community with all my sisters. The thing about sisterhood is that no matter if you are having the best day of your life or the absolute worst day they will your back. And just like that, I found my community at Longwood University.
